In late May, global energy and renewable energy services company DP CleanTech Group and Italian company Bst srl formally signed a collaboration agreement to introduce Bst’s anaerobic digestion technology for agricultural waste in Asia, effective immediately.
DP’s leading biomass-to-energy expertise has been the platform for further expansion of the technology portfolio which now includes a broad range of proprietary technologies for processing, treating and converting multiple feedstocks into energy.
With over a decade of activity and experience in Europe, Bst srl offers specific skills and technology in the design, construction and management of stainless steel anaerobic digestion systems for agricultural waste. Bst has completed over 40 plants, with sizes ranging from 50 KWe up to over 1 MWe for biogas and biomethane equivalents; Bst also offers a wide range of products and services for cogeneration/trigeneration, animal welfare and nitrogen reduction.
DP CEO Simon Parker elaborated on the deal by stating that “our emerging markets strategy has identified growing opportunities focused specifically on agricultural waste. In these markets, we already have a significant presence in the biomass and MSW sectors and have spent time evaluating the right partner for DP, in terms of technology, scale and expertise. We are pleased to have reached an agreement with Bst to bring their specific know-how and reliable agricultural waste technologies to Asia. We see our strengths and corporate values as highly complementary and beneficial to potential customers.”

Bst srl is based in Montirone (BS), Italy and has specialized for over 10 years in the design, construction and management of stainless steel anaerobic digestion systems on a customized and turn-key basis. Bst also offers products and services for cogeneration/trigeneration, animal welfare and nitrogen reduction and its solutions have been used in over 40 projects.
Bst has invested heavily in R&D and continuous improvement programs for its solutions; and in the continuous training and development of employees in order to maintain high and consistent levels of quality and customer satisfaction. We have been operational since 2005, over the years it changed its status to an LLC, before becoming a totally green energy company in 2012. Our staff is made up of 15 employees and another 10 outsourced. We have our architecture manager and our engineering managers, we do projects from authorization to final implementation, landscaping and rural design. We serve our customers in the most professional way by offering a 24-hour assistance and maintenance service, both mechanical and biological.
Biogas and biomethane are our core business, we also won the gold leaf for innovation at FIERAGRICOLA 2018 for the air-conditioned stable, which uses heat coming from the biogas plant.
